PURCHASE: September 25, 2003 FROM: Viotech The owner sold all his customers to Netrillium so now I'm with them. My graphic site used to be on the domain moon-star.org and dream-ling.net was just my blog. The site used to be hosted by Maja. Thank you Maja for hosting me for a year! ^_^ But after the year was over and m-s.org got renewed without me knowing, I decided to combine my blog and graphic site. Why? Because I want to keep it more active. My blog was plain and boring. And I hardly have time to add graphics daily. So instead of deleting one and keeping the other, I thought it would be better to combine them. Besides, the blog is like a page and the rest are graphics and tutorials stuff. If you come here and know me, then you can read my blog and look at the graphics too or if you don't know me, then you can just enjoy the graphics. After a year of being bored with just graphics and blogging, I decided to add more things to this domain such as scanlations by different groups. I just wanted to help out with sharing. So basically, this domain is my domain of random-ness because it doesn't focus on just one thing. It's too boring for me to do that. Domain Name So how did I come up with this name, huh? Well, I like to daydream and Ling is my online name. So there! Simple, right? ^_^ Current Layout
After many, many, many months, I've managed to get creative enough to create and code a new layout. Originally, I had another layout that I've made using a picture I took. However, I didn't really like it as much so I gave a shot at making another one. I really do like this one. It actually looks better than the other one. I might just take a screenshot of the other one and put it in the trash pile collection. Anyway, I know it's purple again, but I like it. I used two image scans from Aethereality.net. I don't think they're the same person, but I'm not actually sure. You tell me. :P
Past Layout
This layout is suppose to be clean and simple. I want to turn this domain into more of a personal site and I haven't made anything non-anime in a long time. I used pink and grey because I've never used these colors before. I saw it used for another layout and really liked it. Also, this marks the point where I want to revamp the whole domain and change it completely to a blog/personal site and move the rest somewhere else. I really like this layout because it's I didn't make the header really big and overpowering. Anyway, this layout should work in most browsers, if it doesn't, let me know. This layout features Rehdan Priestess named Olha from Ys: The Ark of Napishtim. It took me forever to think of this layout. I really like the starry background blend. That took the most time because I blended so many things in there. This layout actually started one day when I got bored and I decided to drew a flower. I wanted to use this drawing in one of my layout, but when I scanned it, it looked really ugly. So I blend it WAY into the background. You can kind of see it, if you're looking hard enough. It's underneath the little poem. Also, I got tired of putting all those links somewhere on the layout like the last one so I have only a bit of links on top. So it's more organized. Anyway, layout should work in most common browers.
This layout features Sakura and Syaoran from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle. This layout started out on a piece of paper. I drew it on a piece of paper one night because I couldn't sleep. I thought it looked really nice so I open PSP and started making it. I wanted a dark theme so I used black as the background instead of white. I'm not good with creating dark theme layouts. Anyway, due to limited resources on my laptop, the brushes and fonts are the ones that came originally with PSP. I didn't download anything new on this laptop. Since I got more familiar with image mapping, I decided to use it again on this layout; however, since a lot of people are blind or can't click for some reason, I had to put the link on the side too. And this is my first time using all tables. It caused some problems in certain browsers, but I fixed it. This layout was tested in IE, Foxfire, Netscape, and Opera. I took a screenshot of the gallery instead because I actually changed the layout and didn't remember to take a screenshot of it.
This layout features Full Moon. I used image map for the navigations and the color is sort of pastel red and pink. Haha! I like blue, red, purple, and yellow/orange. I need to make layouts in other colors. Anyway, it's not quite the same as my past layouts, but very similar. This layout was checked in IE, NS and Mozilla. ^_^ Yup, they look good in all of them.
