MAKE BAD IMAGE QUALITY GOOD
|

I actually found two ways to do this. Sometimes I use one and once in awhile I used both. ^_^ It really depends on the image though. The above example used the method, "Egde Preserving Smooth".
[1] Egde Preserving Smooth
I personally prefer this one, but sometimes it doesn't always work. Why? I don't know.
- file -> open
- effects -> noise -> Egde Preserving Smooth
- You'll have to play around with the number. I normally use from 3-6. Sometimes I go lower, but never really that high.
- Then save it as a .jpg and not as a .gif.
[2] Air Brush
I used to use this method because I found out about the other one.
- file -> open
- effects -> enhance photo -> JPEG Artifact Removal
- Then look at the view window and pick the strength that looks right to you and for amount, I have 0.
- OPTIONAL: Sometimes I like to sharp up the image a little bit. To do that, go to effects -> sharpen.
- Then save it as a .jpg and not as a .gif.
[extra] WHEN SAVE AS .JPG
Make sure you do this before you save the image as .jpg. It helps with the quality.
- Okay, so you're done with whatever it is you're doing and now you're going to save. File -> Save as or just press F12
- File name: whatever you want to call it, Save as type: JPEG-JFIF Compliant (*.jpg, *.jif, *.jpeg)
- Now click on option
- Encoding should be standard encoding, Compression factor: 1
- Click OK and then click save.
- And that's it! It should do the trick. ^_^
