LINE STRETCH

This tutorial might be a little confusing, so if you have any questions, please visit our forum if you need help. I don't do help over e-mails, AIM/MSN, or comments/tagboards.
- First please do this:

You can make a white background and put the image you want over it or you can use the "Preset Shape" tool and make the white area. Either way, make sure it looks something like that. It doesn't matter if the color is white or not. Ignore the black outline. I just did that so you can see the whole image.
- Now, zoom in the image [2:1] or [3:1]. With the "selection" tool, select exactly 1px in height of the bottom of the image. Like this: click here. This might be difficult for some people, but if you look at the bottom left of your PSP window, it should tell you the width and the height of your selections. Width depends on your image, but the height has to be exactly 1px.
Also, make sure that the "Antialias" option for the selection is unchecked too. You should be able to find that in "tool options" after you click on the "selection" icon.
- Next, find the style box on the right. Like this:

See the arrow? Click on that and it should show you some options.

So now just click on the same box...not the arrow though. A window should pop up. You see the box, right? Click on the arrow pointing down. Scroll up until you see the same thing I do...well, at least the one that I'm pointed to.

- Now go back to your image. Press Ctrl + D and the selection should disappear.
- Now use the "magic wand" tool and click on the white area. It should select that part.
- Then use the "flood fill" tool and click on the white area. If you did it right up until now, you should have the line stretch. If not, I suggest go back one more time before you ask me any questions. ^_^
The ending result should look like this.
