On Saturday, my friends woke me up at 8am. They didn’t tell me where we were going, except that we’re going to go eat breakfast. We walked towards the dining hall, but I knew that they don’t open until 11. We stood there waiting for…something. Then they lead me to this other area where there’s this van. Apparently, they booked tickets for Monterey Bay Aquarium. I’ve been there plenty of times before, but haven’t really spent a lot of time there since they remodelled everything and added new things.
So we had a fun day at the aquarium, looking at animals and I took a bunch of pictures and videos of animals being fed. I uploaded the pictures onto facebook, but Yingna said she got an error, so either add me as friends on facebook to see all of it or just look at these pictures.
There were some freaky look animals at the aquarium. The Sun Fish was the uglest looking thing of all, but if you look at it long enough, it actually looks kind of cute. Especially in the video clip I recorded. It’s moves so slow so all the tuna got all the food before it can get it. The picture on the left was taken when it was REALLY close to the window.
We also saw the kelp forest feeding, where this diver comes in and hand feed the fishes.
The picture on the right is of the diver and I think there’s a shark in there somewhere…try to get its meal. They’re like dogs. They see the diver and they all gather around him. It’s kind of cute. I have a video of that too. I’ll probably upload them onto youtube when I have time.
This picture on the left is of my friend trying to reach the sting ray. They clipped the sting part of the shark so that you can touch them. They said that it should be used to people, but when you reach in, it swims away to the corner.
These are penguins. We think they’re trying to mate because they’re right on top of each other. The worker said they if they do happen to lay an egg, they will take the egg away and give them a wooden egg to sit on. Months later, if nothing happened, the penguins will rule it as a dud and move on. Sad, but they said they’re not trying to hatch anything right now. I don’t know what they do with the egg though.
It was a gloomy day, but it didn’t rain the whole day. We went out and it was kind of nice. It wasn’t too cold. I like taking scenary pictures, especially of the ocean at sunset. I think it’s absolutely beautiful. This picture was not taken at sunset, but you can see the ocean.
These next 4 pictures is just me and my friends.

And this is the ONLY picture I have of the party that night. I was transferring pictures from card to computer and accidently deleted some pictures in the process. Stupid me! Anyhow, I still have the clip of them singing me happy birthday and some other clips of us playing Dirty Minds. If you can’t see it, then it’s because youtube haven’t process them yet. So you can view/download it here. They gave me a bottle of Mai Tai, a shot glass that says “F*uck off” in big letters and “It’s my birthday” in small letters, a poster of Cao Bang, Vietnam and 1000 Drink Game.
Anyway, I’m off to do my Physics homework, shower, and get ready for my V-Day Craft Night event. See ya!
Side note: I sent out password for the private entries to a few people on my friends, but I didn’t get to everyone. If you want it, just leave a msg or e-mail or something. I only give to people I know.
