I have the next couple of days off of work. Time to relax….and be bored out-of-my-mind! The last time I didn’t work for 2 days in a row, I was bored within a few hours. It’s weird how my temp. Manager scheduled me 4 days last week and 2 days this week. I was going to say, “Give me more hours” but she’s leaving after this week and our official one is going to be here. The other day, my old GM came back to the store. (I have no idea why.) I don’t know who had issues with him — I heard it was a number of people — but I was excited to see him. I never had a problem with him because I hardly ever worked during the school year. I’m just grateful that he let me transferred to his store and didn’t make me go through all the paperworks and all that jazz. Anyway, I saw some tension between him and a few people…he didn’t talk to some of them. Right when he left, his old boss called him. Everyone was looking around the store for him, but we couldn’t find him. I guess he left without saying, “bye” to anyone. Maybe he thought we were all busy or something…
My boyfriend is currently in Santa Cruz right now. I’m going to go there on Wednesday to see him and a bunch of other people. I’m not too excited about the drive there. It’s only an hour away, but I have a bad sense of direction and I drive too slow. It will probably take me an hour and a half. I just hope I make it there and back in one piece. Anyway, I’m excited to see him…even though, he’s going to be working. Oh well.
New layout coming soon! I’m steering away from the whole anime/manga layouts so I made a rather simple non-anime/manga one. (I just need to code it now.) I’ve lost my interests for the internet. I still want to blog, but other than that, I don’t care about anything else. Well, I still care about AC, but I’m waiting for phpbb.com to officially release 3.0 so I can upgrade and get rid of all the spamming and hacking. They might do it this summer. That’s why I haven’t updated that board in months because I might have to start over again anyway.
Other than working and watching a shitload of movies, I haven’t been doing much. I got Blockbuster Total Access (online). At first, I thought it was just like Netflix. I had Netflix last summer and wanted to get Blockbuster this time because of the 2-weeks Free Trial. However, I found that I like Blockbuster more. SAME: Cost and shipping time (fast!). DIFFERENCES: With blockbuster, you can trade them for movies in store AND they send you more. So you have double the movies than what you paid for. I got the 3-at-a-time, but I get to have 6 movies at a time: 3 from store and 3 from online. Got recommendations? I’m kind of out of movies to watch.
