If it wasn’t for the fact that I need money, I probably would be more picky as to where I want to work. Working in customer service sucks and it’s worst during the holidays. Except, I work in a rich area so that’s even worse. They think I care what they want when I don’t. I only smile and tune them out, then they go away and I move on. Since they’re rich, they act like we’re there to be their servants.

For example, every day, the janitors would come in either early in the morning or at night and clean the bathrooms. However, during the middle of the day, people would go in there and mess up one or two of the stalls. Since we’re not hired to clean bathrooms, we don’t really go in there every hour to make sure it’s okay. So when they come up to us and demand that we do something about it, I’m just going to pass that on to someone who does care and that’s not me. Usually, it’s not even that big of a deal, like clean toilet seat covers are all on the floor or clean rolls of toilet paper rolling everywhere. It’s not like it flooded or something.

They make it seems like it’s really dirty, but it’s just a little messy. It’s still clean and usable.
