What’s in my bag and more

Tuesday, March 31st, 2009

It’s picture time!!

So there have been numerous people who post pictures on what they carry in their purse/bag/etc. I switch between school, work and social so I carry light.

So I wish to tag some people to post a picture of what’s in their bag. If you don’t have a camera, you can just list what you have.

TAG: Bev, Megori, Ongaku, Vijayata, and Roxanne…plus anyone else who wants to do this.

Post your picture and tag 5 people.

Next 3 pictures are of my desk and dresser. Excuse the mess you see.

Lastly, some pictures of Coco. Of course, I should post this in the blog that I have for her, but I’m too lazy to update that so whatever.

Quick Update

Tuesday, March 24th, 2009

PERSONAL LIFE: I had a fight with my boyfriend yesterday and even though things are okay now, I feel like crap. I don’t want to get into it though.

FAMILY: My mom is constantly on PMS or something. Her attitude and mood goes up and down ALL the time. One second she’s nagging at me about something and the next minute she’s all nice to me. For example, we recently installed one of those chain on the front door and she spent 10 minutes EXPLAINING to me the rules and how to use it like I’m stupid or something.

FRIENDS: My friends are all busy with their life and they’re moving forward so I feel like I’m being left behind in the dusk. They’re getting calls from the pharmacy schools and they all have decent jobs and what the hell am I doing?

WORK: So besides the bookstore, I also work in the cafe in the bookstore. I’ve learned how to make a lot of different drinks and when I do mess up, the customers don’t even noticed and they even said it was good. Though, when I did mess up on one of my coworker drinks, she bluntly pointed it out. Thanks for understanding…

SCHOOL: I’m currently only taking a few classes at the community college. My classmates are, overall, cool, but at the same time, there are the snobby, bitchy, I-only-hangout-with-my-type people. And I don’t mean just hanging out with their own race, but people who only hangout with people who they think is smart and look down on those who they think is not.

Asian Friends

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009

One of my classmate turned to me yesterday and said, “I’ve noticed that you don’t have a lot of asian friends.” See, the Vietnamese people in our class all study and hangs out together. Since I’m also Vietnamese, why am I not with them? Well, first of all, I don’t like to speak Vietnamese in class and since they all speak with each other in Vietnamese, I don’t feel like I fit in. Also, I talk to people who I click with and can have a nice conversation with, regardless of their race. I usually like people within my age range (20-25) or mature enough. But the thing that I look for the most is if we can have a good conversation or not. If I can’t talk to you, then I can’t be friends with you because we have nothing in common.

I’m not saying that I don’t have Asian friends because I do. It’s just that I don’t look at the race, but more of the personality. Some people only talk to people who are the same race as they are. I’m totally not like that. We have to click.

However, most of my friends are females. There are only a few guys who I feel I can be friends with, but usually, I like talking to other girls because I can say more personal things and not feel embarrass about.

Anyone else out there who look for the same thing I do or do you prefer more people who are your race? I’m not judging, just wondering.

Too much

You know  you’ve been playing too much SIMS 2, when you start seeing the customers at your work place like this:

Seriously, when I see customers deciding whether or not they want something, I always see the green arrow thing on top of their heads or the little thought bubbles. I need to stop playing that game.
